AL HAMRA 4 Bedrooms - 2nd Row - Beach Access

Al Hamra is a beautiful Morroccan-inspired 4 Bedroom house with a stunning central swimming pool.  Set in an acre of garden approximately 150 meters from the main Turtle Bay Beach and Watamu Marine Park, via a private beach access.

With plenty of comfortable seating areas throughout the house, sunbeds around the pool as well as a couple of star beds set at the end of the pool - it's hard not to relax here.

The first floor houses the living space, dining area and cloakroom and overlooks the fantastic covered plunge pool that overflows into the main pool in the garden below. There is also TV with satellite TV on the first floor.

Flanking the pool area connected to the main house by arched corridors, are two large bedroom suites, each with fitted mosquito nets, air-conditioning, ensuite bathrooms and a private shaded roof terrace above.  Each of these roof terraces has a couple of lamu beds that can be made up as single beds with mosquito nets and a stand fan. A third double room with mosquito net, air-conditioning and ensuite bathroom is within the main part of the house on the ground floor along with a TV room with satellite TV. 

Amani Beach House is a Lamu-Style home located on the unspoiled white sand Mida beach in Watamu, Kenya. With private access to the beach below, Amani, suitable for up to 6 persons, is available as a two-bedroom property with a further bedroom in an outer guest cottage. The property has a large swimming pool and the most unrivaled views over the mouth of Mida Creek and out to sea from the magnificent roof terrace that is available to tenants for quiet relaxation, sundowners or dining under the stars. Bedrooms/Bathrooms: In the main house there is a master double bed on the ground floor, with en-suite shower room, remote control air conditioning, large mosquito nets and a fan within the net.  At the back of the house is a further twin-bed room in a guest cottage (can sleep up to 3 guests by arrangement) with en-suite shower room, remote air-conditioning, mosquito net and fan within the net; there is also a small refrigerator, kettle etc for early risers to make tea. (Kindly note that the upstairs bedrooms are kept for the owners use only and bookings are only taken when the owners are up-country or abroad.

Kitchen: The kitchen includes oven cooker, hob, fridge/freezer, drinks fridge and microwave. Jackson is the resident cook and has been with the owners for many years.

Living Rooms: On the ground floor is an indoor sitting and dining room as well as a large outdoor veranda with a further dining area.  A baraza style sitting area is featured with plenty of fans to keep you cool. 

Roof-terrace: reached up a tower staircase, a huge roof terrace gives commanding views out to sea.  Simply wonderful for sundowners and evening meals, there is also a covered snooze zone perfect for a quiet morning cup of tea or coffee and also excellent during the day for quiet reading or relaxation.

Pool:  Aside the pool is a thatched banda, fans within to keep you cool while having a comfortable snack lunch or relaxing on the sun beds .  David is your pool attendant who will also help Jackson for dinner in the evenings.

Ampoja Beach House is a lovely family beach house spread over 900 square meters, nestled amongst the sand dunes of one of Kenya’s most beautiful secluded beaches, stretching for miles on end, untouched by crowds.  It is the last house on the beach, located on a twenty acre beachfront plot with over 1,000 coconut palm trees alongside other indigenous plans, making for an idyllic setting.

The house is built entirely from locally sourced materials to the family's own design. It is ideal for families and groups of friends, with large amounts of airy indoor and outdoor living space, a swimming pool and 5 double bedrooms all opening out towards the sea. 

Inside the house it boasts a large open kitchen with a breakfast bar, a dining area that can accommodate 16 people at the table and a large family snug area. Head upstairs for the astonishing roof terrace set under the traditional makuti roof, stretching the whole length of the house, which provides incredible views out to sea – a fantastic sundowner or morning coffee spot!

Each of the five bedrooms are spacious and open out towards the sea - they all have double beds, ensuite bathrooms and walk-in wardrobes.  Each can accommodate an additional bed if required.

The house has a wonderful team of dedicated staff that look after the guests and the home.  They include an excellent chef, Kahindi, who is passionate about the local cuisine and fresh seafood, as well as making excellent puddings.  He can cater for all dietary requirements.

The Beachcomber is a spacious four bedroom house approximately 70 yards away from the beach at Turtle Bay.   With large swimming pool,  flanked with a covered double bed to one side and a covered seating area on the other, there are plenty of spaces to sunbathe or just relax by the pool.

A grand staircase leads up from the pool area to a spacious covered terrace with outside dining table for up to 10 guests on one side and a cosy seating area on the other, both with views over the garden to the Ocean Off the terrace is a large open plan living room that leads to the inside dining table and refurbished kitchen beyond On the ground floor, are two large double rooms with ensuite showers with overhead fan, fitted mosquito nets and air-conditioning.  Both have an additional fitted single bed/sofa

Reef is one of two beautifully constructed, modern three-bedroom cottages featuring a refreshing private pool. This charming property is ideally situated just a short walk away from the nearest public beach access, which leads you directly to a stunning section of Turtle Bay Beach, renowned for its soft sands and the enchanting surroundings of the Watamu Marine Park. For larger groups or families seeking accommodation, Reef’s sister cottage, Coral, can be reserved simultaneously to comfortably accommodate a maximum of 12 guests, including children. As you enter the charming cottage, it opens out into a spacious living area characterized by its high ceilings, creating an airy atmosphere. The thoughtfully arranged dining table and large, comfortable sofas invite you to relax while offering beautiful views of the pool and lush garden area outside. At the opposite end of this inviting space, you will find an open-concept kitchen that is well equipped and designed for convenience, perfect for preparing meals and entertaining guests.

There is one large air-conditioned ensuite bedroom located on the ground floor that not only offers spacious accommodations but also features large windows that look out onto the inviting pool area, effortlessly leading guests to the refreshing waters just a few steps away.

At the top of the stairs, there is a spacious and inviting open area that has been thoughtfully set up as a little office area, a serene yoga space, or simply as a comfortable spot to sit back and relax with a good book. This multifunctional area offers the perfect environment for both productivity and leisure, catering to various activities based on your mood and needs.

A further two spacious double bedrooms are conveniently located upstairs, each air-conditioned, featuring ensuite shower rooms  along with their own little balcony that offers a delightful view over the pool area.
